Conference Venue
The University of Vienna is a public university located in Vienna, Austria.
It was founded by Duke Rudolph IV in 1365 and is the oldest university in the German-speaking world. With its long and rich history, the University of Vienna has developed into one of Europe's largest and most renowned universities.
It is associated with 20 Nobel prize winners and has been the academic home to many scholars of historical and academic importance. Its iconic main building, designed by Heinrich Ferstel and built in 1873, hosts the central headquarters of the University, located in the central first district of the city.
BARRIER-FREE ACCESS

In the University of Vienna, where the conference is taking place, the session rooms and spaces are wheelchair-accessible via ramps and stair lifts. The building is equipped with tactile paving, tactile lettering in the lifts and acoustic loudspeaker announcements on all floors. Accessible toilets as well as spaces for wheelchairs are available to persons with reduced mobility.

In the Vienna City Hall, where the Gala Dinner is taking place, the event space is accessible via a lift. A wheelchair-accessible toilet is located on the entrance level, next to the lift, at the staircase “Stiege” 8.
